A Mom Like Me

From time to time I will write from a Mom’s perspective, I will share thoughts, information and inspiring words that I’ve collected through the years, and would gladly participate in any discussion or questions you may have regarding being a parent of a child with Aspergers Syndrome, a mom, a network marketer, Primary Provider, Educator, sister, Mexican-American, wife, mom to be and everything in between!  As you read in MY STORY,  I earned a Bachelors Degree in Social Work and an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education.  I’ve held positions as a GOALS (Gaining Opportunity And Living Skills) coach, Juvenile Probation Officer, Preschool Principal, School Secretary, Early Head Start Director, and volunteered in many church events, but my biggest passion and goal in life is to be the best mom to my children.

I work from home to be with my children…THEY ARE MY WHY! I deserve to hear their laughter, wipe their tears, comfort them when they’re hurt, and protect them when they’re scared. As a mom, I’ve been able to take my motherly instinct and passion and relate it to building a network marketing team in my company. I’m sure you can relate, which is why this section is entitled

A Mom Like Me

I truly believe that the good Lord gave us “motherly instincts” a.k.a 6th sense or sick sense as others like to refer, as a gift to take care of those we love, honor respect and trust.  I believe that in sharing this section with you, you’ll have a greater connection with other Top MODELs (Mothers Online Developing Entrepreneurs and Leaders) in your circle of influence and affluence.

The posts will be highlighted in the “Leadership & Inspiration Page”.  Enjoy and…

Be proud of your MOM status!  It’s the best position in life you will ever attain!

When you visit ” A Mom Like Me” you’ll connect and maybe even offer support to other Moms.  I know, there are times when I need to vent, ask for help and yet feel as if there’s nowhere to turn.  Well, I believe I deserve to be heard and you deserve to be heard, too!  I encourage you to comment, discuss, re-tweet and share anything on my blog to someone who may need a few encouraging words. I invite you to share stories, memories of being a mom, of your mom, and what kind of mom you would like to be if you’re thinking of being a mom. :-)
